St. Petersburg State University, Leonhard Euler International Charitable Foundation for Mathematics and the School of Mathematics “Unichance” announce the first International Mathematical Olympiad “Formulo de Integreco”.
Schoolchildren of grades 7-10 from Russia and students aged 13-16 from all over the world are invited to participate. Participation in the competition is free.
Competition winners will receive certificates and will be invited to the special distant mathematical circle, members of the circle will be able to participate in the International Mathematical Summer camps “Formulo de Intereco” held in Russia (near St. Petersburg) and in Spain (http://www.euler-foundation.org/?page_id=490).
There will be two rounds in the Olympiad. First round is by correspondence, the list of problems in Russian and English will be published on the website of the Euler Foundation (http://euler-foundation.org) on October 25, 2012, the deadline for sending solutions is November 15. The date and the format of the second round will be announced after November 20.
