Euler Foundation has been established on the occasion of a jubilee of the great scientist. It works in the area of support of mathematics and mathematical education in Russia (cf. List of projects).
Founders: members of Russian Academy of Sciences L. D. Faddeev and I. A. Ibragimov, professors A. M. Vershik and S.V.Vostokov.
President of Euler Foundation: Igor B. Zhukov, professor of the Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics of St. Petersburg University.
Board of Trustees includes scientists, businessmen and representatives of city administration.
